Sharp Developments is proud to announce a follow up conference and takes forward the learning from the recently concluded 3rd National Conference on Green Building on 16th February 2017 conference titled ‘Integration of Solar from Buildings to Cities’.
The Conference shall highlight:
- The use of renewable energy in smart integrated urban energy systems
- Waste management and water management
- Retrofitting of existing infrastructure to achieve efficiency
- Funding of such initiatives through various bi-lateral and multi-lateral agencies
- Need of specialized manpower required to upscale the existing efforts and initiatives
The conference will bring together senior architects, planners, Vendors, PSU’s, People working in the field of intelligent buildings, International agencies like UNDP and World Bank, various bilateral and multilateral funding agencies, development authorities and Ministry of New and Renewable Energy to have case study presentations, panel discussions on initiating a policy dialogue over up-scaling environmental parameters and lessons learned from the building level to the cities level along with key areas of Renewable Energy Integration within Sustainable Urban Environments.
The Guest of Honour for the conference will be Ms. Varsha Joshi, Secretary Power, Government of NCT, Delhi. In the previous conference she highlighted the need to explore retrofitting options for urban infrastructure and waste to energy options for the state of Delhi. Taking forward this conference is the way forward to identify solutions for intelligent buildings which are shall lead to Smart Cities. The conference aims to promote the intelligent building principles & concepts with emphasis on the renewable energy application in the green cities among the stakeholders through a combination of promotional incentives and support in the country.
